Salary: £30 per hour on Service Level Agreement
Hours: 1 day a week

The Norland Educare Research Journal is an international double-blind peer-reviewed journal published annually online. Our aim is to give researchers in the fields of home-based early childhood education and care greater representation and access to high calibre articles to inform their learning and practice.
We are seeking a motivated Editor-in-Chief to manage the editorial direction, policies, content quality, and publishing strategy of the Norland Educare Research Journal and lead our Editorial Advisory Board. Responsibilities will include undertaking editorial reviews, overseeing editorial processes, ensuring journal integrity and credibility, and developing a clear strategy to increase the number of high-quality article articles we receive. The successful candidate will be supported by a Research Fellow, Research Assistant and Administrator to oversee the production of the Journal the publication process. This includes article double-blind peer review and ensuring the accuracy of metatdata and DOI creation and their allocation to articles. The role will necessitate the production of editorial articles, occasional written reports, and liaison with Norland College’s Marketing Department for the creation of press releases and other relevant content.
